INTRO TO TEAM CULTURE

 Culture is important!  The following activities take place during different times of the year, so please consider volunteering for one or more.  Time commitment estimated in italics below.

Team clothing/kit orders are handled through the Team Store.  When the sale concludes, collect totals, place the order and deliver the order when received.  Beginning of the season time commitment - 15-40 hours.

Hotel stays are more convenient for families at a few races.  In this role,  identify and block rooms at potential hotels for race families to stay together.  Beginning of the season time commitment - 2-15 hours.

Every race requires an awesome 'home base'!  Be part of the team responsible for coordinating snacks, playing music and ensuring the trash is responsibly disposed.   Five races = five coordination occasions - 15-40 hours.

An end of year party is awesome!  Be a member of a team which identifies the site, the food, date and time.  Includes set up and clean up of the site on the day of the event.  A few planning meetings and two-three hours day of event - 2-15 hours.

Coordinate the supplies, and set up equipment to host the event.  A planning meeting and a couple of hours day of event - 2-15 hours.

Maintain the team's social presence.  Capture race day activities through photo or video and post the moment to facebook, twitter and instagram.  Keep the team's website up to date with the latest important news.  Maintain the team's store for team family clothing/event purchases.  Season long commitment with assistance from others for gathering relevant content - 15-40 hours.
